Eric Wong

As a Competitive Cyclist, Eric has trained with BONDtraining for the past 9 seasons and used the MTBdryland Program as his own preparation for gravity-oriented racing. Inspired by the positive impact the gym had on his own cycling, Eric is BCRPA Personal Training (PT) and PMBI L2 Certified. He joined Jason on the training floor in 2016. Eric is excited to work alongside Jason in sharing the benefits of a dedicated gym program to clients of all abilities and fitness levels.

Growing up in Vancouver, Eric took up mountain biking at the age of 8 with the North Shore Mountains in his backyard. What started as a hobby quickly became a lifelong passion and led to a competitive career racing Downhill, Slalom, 4x and anything else that meant going downhill; fast.

MTBdryland training has been integral to my training the last couple of years. With my goals continuing to increase to include longer MTB races and stage races, having a program focused on core, mobility and strength is critical to completing these events and helps me perform at a high level. Also, having just entered the age of 50+, this level of fitness is so important to maintain in order to enjoy my sport for many years to come! Thanks Jason and team.
